Welcome to my website.  My name is Lisa Aguirre and I have been sewing for over 40 years.  Sewing was introduced to me by Mrs. Martha Wilson at Tuffree Junior High School in the early 70's.  She still stands out today as a main influence on who I am today.  I continued to take sewing and home economics throughout my high school years.  I have never lost the creativity bug.  Over the past eight years my passion turned to quilting.  I made my first quilt at the age of 16 and I still have it today.  I was self-taught at the time and we did not have the cool, modern tools that we have today.  My husband doesn't always understand my passion, so I tell him that it is much cheaper than therapy and you get something beautiful out of it.

My passion has tuned into The Scrappy Quilter.  We are a quality quilt and fabric shop located in the Northeast section of the greater San Antonio area in Schertz, Texas.  Conveniently located close to Randolph Air Force Base, The Forum and Interstate 35 North.  Our shop features quality fabrics and sewing notions as well as a classroom for instruction.  Longarm services are also available through One of a KINDness.  Please stop in and visit us.
